                                                      Through all the bloodshed and wars,

                                                      We fought to earn freedom to all;

                                                      Ahimsa and Satyagraha as tools,

                                                      And blood flowing down to pools,

                                                      We made huge sacrifices,

                                                      To free ourselves from the vices;

                                                      Here we are shouting for glee,

                                                      As the shackles that bound us flee;

                                                      May the Heavens bless us this day!

                                                      In harmony and peace long live we may!!
